Central Buchanan County in northwestern Missouri... Southeastern Holt County in northwestern Missouri... * WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1254 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms will track eastward across the advisory area early this afternoon. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2.5 inches are expected over the area between now and 2 pm. This rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Joseph, Savannah, Wathena, Elwood, Highland, Troy, Country Club Villa, Country Club, Amazonia, White Cloud, Denton, Doniphan, Severance, Leona, Fanning, St. Joseph Airport, Bendena and Iowa Point. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen across scattered locations within the warned area in the past half hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area.
