The moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low pressure cell covers over upper Vietnam with thundershower are possible over country and isolated heavy rain in the East and the South
(west coast).
The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
In addition, Typhoon “MEKKHALA” over the Pacific Ocean, east of Taiwan is expected to move to the south of Japan. This strom is not move to Thailand.
People in the areas should beware of thundershowers and its accumulations. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

ประเทศไทยยังคงมีฝนฟ้าคะนองเกิดขึ้นได้ โดยมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณภาคตะวันออก
และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ประกอบกับมีหย่อม
ความกดอากาศต่ำปกคลุมประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน
สำหรับบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยมีคลื่นสูง 1-2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
อนึ่ง พายุไต้ฝุ่น “เมขลา” บริเวณมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิกหรือด้านตะวันออกของเกาะไต้หวัน มีแนวโน้มเคลื่อนตัวไปทางตอนใต้ของประเทศญี่ปุ่น
โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนองและฝนที่ตกสะสมในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง
